Meaning behind the Hypethetic label

Hypethetic ( pronounced “Hype Pathetic” ) is a personification of how hype can actually make one look so pathetic.

In one scenario, when we talk about being pathetic, we mean being broke from investing in hyped up street wear merchandises.

In another scenario, it is pathetic that we don’t have a street culture to call our own. The young mimics the trends of upbeat countries and call that our street culture. In a stereotypical sense, many individuals choose more “branded” or “established” foreign labels over local labels.

So are we doing it for the sake of hype or for the love of artistic beauty?

Are we doing enough justice to our local talents or labels?

Ponder about it..

“The street is our place and the culture is ours to mould, if and only if, we support our brothers and sisters in arms, on the very soil that we live on.”
